In October 2024, at the Mitsubishi Electric Research Center in Nagoya, there was a basketball throwing competition between an industrial robot and 3 Japanese female athletes. Competition format: 7 rounds, the side with the most points wins.
Robot model: MELFA RV-7FRL (Nickname = Luna)
